  For over 10 years Christine (Chrissy) Skinner has been working in private practice as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and Accredited Exercise Physiologist, assisting clients with chronic disease and weight management. She believes strongly in empowering clients with self-management strategies that can lead to long-term behaviour change to optimise health outcomes. 

Chrissy's areas of expertise include educating adults regarding Type 2 Diabetes, Type 1 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, newly diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes, Exercise for Bariatric Surgery and other various weight management approaches. She can also initiate clients on insulin and injectable therapies for diabetes and weight management, as well as Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems.

In 2014 Chrissy completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education & Management from University of Technology Sydney. Prior to this Chrissy attained Bachelor’s degrees in Health Science (Nutrition), Applied Science (Human Movement Studies), and Business through Queensland University of Technology.
